Baby very low down - problem?

I have been to the Doctor this morning and she said that the baby (25 weeks) is very low down. I have felt kicks quite low down so I can understand what she is saying. She says it is not a problem - could put some pressure on my CS scar (only 12 months ago) but I asked if it could cause your waters to break early and she said no.

Has anyone else experienced this?

DS (now 13) was very low from about 19 weeks so had extra scans. He righted himself in the end (but my waters did break early - not sure if that's linked though).

Be grateful for escaping the really painful kicks under the ribcage!!

Can I ask - why the extra scans?

I am 24 weeks and my baby is very low down too ,The doctor has mentioned it but does not seem worried I am having an extra scan at 34 weeks but this is due to low laying placenta .

I have never carried this low before and can feel a difference I find it harder to get up and her kicks are odd (usually in the fanjo ).

Hope all goes well .

My LO is low down too... same as others I get strange kicks in delicate places.. but MW didn't seem bothered about it. The main problem is that at 30weeks I am having a lot of trouble getting maternity trousers to fit... everything seems to want to be "under the bump" and there is no space under mine, only the big stretchy trousers that go right round my middle will do !

The extra scans were simply as a precaution, especially as my placenta was also low. As I said, everything was fine and the nurses were fabulous stressing there was nothing to worry about, they were just double-checking that there were no additional problems.
