Hi guys, thirty six plus two weeks, head engaged a week ago and had two false start labours already - how long did you guys have after head engaged and you started to stretch up as it were before your little ones make an appearance.

Head engaged 35 weeks. Baby appeared 41 weeks and LOTS of uncomfortable runs of tightenings in between. Thought at the time they were painful but in retrospect having had REAL contractions in labour they were nothing!!!!!

With my first head engaged early on about 34 weeks but he wasn't born till 41+1. I had no false labour.

i just read this hoping to get some good news, but no! this is my second pregnancy and have been told that with the second they engage really late on, sometimes when you go into labour. MW told me last thursday that if the head was any lower i'd be pushing the baby out, so got very excited that it was imminent. however, i'm still here and reading this it looks like it might be a while.
