Odd tightening of uterus after going for a wee - normal???

I was just wondering if anyone else gets this really odd tightening around the lower part of your uterus when you're going to the toilet??

I get it really frequently but particularly when I'm desperate to go. It feels quite uncomfortable, as if the uterus is contracting, but only lasts for about a minute so is nothing major. It's just that I've never heard of it before and never think to ask my MW when I see her.

Am I a weeing oddity??

I think I have the same thing. It think it is just because your muscles/ligments in your uterus are stretching at the moment (if you are in the second tri like me) so are very sensitive. I am basically in pain if my bladder gets only semi-full.

I had it and it turned out to be urine infection. As the others say, get it checked as soon as you can.
