karvol capsules in pregnancy

hi

i have a relly bad head cold and am just over 4mths pregnant can i use karvol capsules. I have looked on line and can't relly find any helpful info

or does any one know what i can use

I have used them on pillows during pregnancy (following baby/child recommendations) - figure if they're fine for a baby, they're fine for me...

It's a nightmare having a cold when you're pregnant. Have hot water with lemon in it, and garlic is supposed to be good for colds.

You can have Boots own brand lemsip and pretend because it's so cheap it doesn't even have any decongestant in it, only paracetamol!

'snufflebabe' (looks like a little pot of lip balm) is also good to rub on your throat and chest as a natural decongestant in pregnancy. i've been using it throughout for pregnancy rhinitus (sp?).

I used Karvol capsules to inhale over steam while pg... they really helped me and I checked with several different reliable sources about their safety during pregnancy...so go for it!! Hope you feel better soon.
