Sure Start Maternity Grant!!

hi girls just wondered did any of you get a sure start maternity grant of a one off payment to your account of 500 pound for the baby?

If so how long after sending the forms off did you recieve the money? thanx xxxxx

well they moved premises after I sent mine off so it took ages as it went missing! Have you rang them to check they have received it?

Still think it takes a few weeks.

usually its within 2 weeks, their pretty quick might wanna check this out too

i got mine within about 2 weeks of posting the form off, i didnt think i would be entitled to it as i was working but becoz i didnt earn that much, i was entitled
Its great about the Health in pregnancy grant aswell

im not sure how long it takes but just a bit of extra info for you, if you are 25 or more weeks pregnant at begining of august you now get a one off payment of £190 from the tax credits i think it is x
