Hi there, just wondering if I am the only person....my first pg symptom was needing to eat in the night and I'm 37 wks now and it's still going strong. I literally cannot sleep if I am hungry and nothing seems to make a difference - eating later, eating more protein.... also if this happened to you, when your baby arrived, was he/she monstrously hungry all the time? I have visions of an insatiably hungry baby that needs feeding constantly.....

I was like this, more so with dd. And erm, well, yes they both did want feeding all night long, sure it was just coincidence though

Sorry probably not the answer you wanted!

this was me! Dh called me the hamster, as there was always crunching and nibbling going on all night..

And yes, my dd was a good eater(but you didn't really want to know that, did you????) However, I quite enjoyed the opportunity to sit down a lot, and it wasn't constantly....

I am 40 weeks TODAY and if I don't have something before bed I wake up ravenous. Not thought about it poss meaning a hungry babe when it eventually comes out!!

I was like this with DS as well, got up in the night and cooked up huge bowls of pasta.. DS is a good eater, but was and is also a good sleeper... and much better to have a baby with a healthy appetite than one that won't eat or gets really fussy.
