Any advice PLEASE!!! I'm now 37+3 and all day i've been feeling so sick (not been sick yet but feel on the verge all the time). I have managed to eat despite not feeling at all hungry. Have a bit of Diarrhea (not too loose tho - TMI!!). I also feel quite shakey - you can see looking at me that i'm shaking but feel like i am inside, if that makes sense?

This is my 2nd baby BTW.

What do you think this could be? A bug? dodgy food? start of something labour-wise??

feel soooo sick!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Also, I have pains under my bump and have had these for the last couple of days (on and off).

I'm no expert but that could well be labour on its way. Both times I felt shaky and tired and had terrible diarrhoea (sp?) and then it all happened!

Good luck, and hope you feel better soon

If in any doubt I would call your midwife or doctor, but whilst it might be related to your pregnancy, it sounds just as likely that you have a normal tummy bug. I think it is easy to assume that anytime you feel unwell in pregnancy that it is related to the pregnancy itself. Better to check though, as you only have a few weeks to go!

I too have felt like this the past 2/3 days, very shaky and a bit sickly and have had loose bowels - I am 40 weeks today and been told I am 2cm and have thin cervix so probably the onset of labour - this could also be the case for you!

Thanks for your replies! Will see how I feel tomorrow then may give the doctor a ring just to get checked out.
Doesn't pregnancy make you so paranoid about every little niggle?!

There is a really horrid bug going around at the moment that sounds a lot like this, DD, DP, my Mum and 2 of my friends all got it after DD brought it home from nursery. Lasted over a week and was hideous, hope you haven't got it but I would say it's def a possibility.

Make sure you are drinking lots of water, v.important not to dehydrate.
