I honestly think I can feel my baby - am 12 weeks. Am I insane?

nope I don't think you are - I think it depends on position of baby etc but I could feel flutters at 12 weeks with this baby (I was 19 weeks before I could feel anything with my DS1)

It's really low down just above my lady garden. It's not gas!

I don't think you are I definitely felt the first flutters with DD3 at just after 12 weeks.

Was about 20 weeks with DD1 and about 16 with DD2, think my stomach muscles must be non existent by now

I felt both of my babies from about 12 weeks. It's a lovely feeling isn't it?

I felt number 3 from 12 weeks.

I am 13 weeks with no 3 and definitely felt movement from 11 weeks. I have a doppler at home (midwifes one, not a crap one) and the heartbeat could be heard in the same place that I was feeling the movement.

Suwoo I've ordered a doppler so I'll test that one out when it arrives!

suwoo what kind of dopper do u have? i was thinking of getting one fr this pregnancy as it will be my last and really want to make the most of it. sorry to hijack by the way. ifelt my first about 17 weeks and it was alot earlier for my scond prop about 13/14 weeks

I'm pg with baby 1 and thought I felt slight tickles at 13 weeks and defo felt flutters at 14 weeks so I think it's possible. I do think it depends on where baby is lyin, mw told me my baby is sat far forward cos she can find heartbeat immediately so think this is also why I felt it early.

Definitely not impossible - I felt DS2 move around 12/13 weeks and by 15 weeks could actually see movement and feel him with my hand - am not kidding!! Tummy muscles must be absolutely shot (am 32 weeks now and HUGE...)

Mine is this one from Ebay. I thought a month would be enough to tide me over before I can feel it regularly enough to reassure me. Bargain!

Picante I would say definitely movements if you suspect they are! I felt movements at around that time too, like little air bubbles popping against my pelvic floor. Thought at the time, wonder if it's wind.. But have monitored them since, same movements, now larger (I'm 18 weeks) and for the first time today felt the pop and saw it vibrate my belly! Definitely not wind and definitely the same feeling that I had at 12 weeks! Had a CVS at just over 12 weeks too and really quite unnerving to sit in the waiting room feeling LO kicking me!
Can I also say that I've had quiet days which have worried me, then kicking/popping away again after a day or two. Days where I look flat, days where I look huge

I definitely felt DC2 moving at 13 weeks, so 12 weeks seems totally feasible to me

i felt dd faintly at 12 weeks and properly at 14

with ds i felt him very faintly at 10 weeks and dp could feel him by 12/13

with this baby i have an anterior placent and was actually quite worried as it was past 13 weeks when i felt anything at all and 15 before it was strong enough to feel with a hand.

everyone is differant, wind and baby movements aren't that alike that you'd mistake one for the other if you've been preg before

I felt Kez move when I was not much more was just a flutter. You know what to look out for chances are it's movement not gas
