Just accidentally ate raw egg - console me!

Hi everyone,

I just made a cake and ate some of the leftover mixture before I remembered it had raw egg in it. Ek! I am not sure what I should do. Should I try to make myself throw up? What are the chances of actually getting ill? My non-pregnant friend ended up in hospital for 3 weeks with salmonella poisoning from poached eggs so I know the consequences are dire if you catch it..

Help!

Thanks so much L)

I did that quite a few times! Don't worry. If it's bad, you'll throw up. Were the eggs old/off? No. Well don't worry about it.

If you were in France you'd probably have some tomorrow too.
Don't fret about it

Thanks so much everyone. You have made me feel so much better. I really appreciate it. Sorry for the double-posting, btw.

Salmonella has been eradicated from lionmarked eggs. I ate runny eggs every day from 17 weeks onwards when pregnant with ds, and I'm not gung-ho at all about these things.
