i just had my first scan at 15 wks and altho it was good news with just one in there and all the right limbs etc was left a bit disappointed! the baby was hard to find (wasnt told to drink 14 pints of water b4!) and low down even after drinking lots but mainly it wasnt doing much at all, which was not what i was expecting after my first sons scan. we found out the sex which we didnt with number two yet he was prancing around so much i got told to have a walk around so he would chill out enough to measure properly! he was balancing on his head pedalling his legs and generally skidaddling around! but the thing is, thats is how he is now quite a bit, always wanting to show you his exercising! (hes 3) just wondering were other peoples scans indicative of their babes temperament once it was born?? am wondering if this new one is a relaxed little sausage?!

DD waved at the camera and is now a right little cheeky poser. Have just had 20wk scan and this one is a tumble tot desperately trying to show everyone his todger. hmmmm.

I'm wondering if it might be, but as a first timer who am I to know. I've felt incredibly chilled out and relaxed while preggers and my first scan showed a laid back little thumb sucker gently kicking his/her heels....
I'll let you know in about two years or so!

Yes in my case - dd1 was leaping around like crazy for her scan and that's how she turned out to be! dd2 was very still and quiet and that's how she is too. But I suspect that a scan doesn't always have a bearing on their real personalities!

nope, no correlation here at all. first 2 were active on the scan, but not so much as to be difficult to measure or anything.
ds1 was incredibly laid-back
ds2 is an utter wild thing

db3 was a maniac on the scan, took forever to get measurements. but is yet to be born, so can't comment yet!

DS was kicking back, hands behind his head, at his 12 week scan - he was a generally pretty easy baby (from around 6 weeks on when he settled down) but is a manic toddler.

Pregnant again - this one was squiggling all over the place for both scans. God only knows what that means...
