Why ? Never come across that !

I know that applying directly to the cervix is optimal as Evening primrose oil is an excellent source of prostaglandins and the cervix best absorbs these.... Dont know how to do it though sorry. Someone once told me that you do it while sitting down and put you finger in but towards your bottom....

If you put a finger (or two) inside & gently feel around you will feel a small bump, this is the opening to your cervix. At the beginning & end of AF the cervix is low & as your month goes on towards OV it rises up, so you made have to reach up further. If you can't feel it at all you are probably at your most fertile stage as it goes up pretty high & goes soft so that it blends in with the rest of the skin around it, so best time to observe it would be just after AF
Hope this helps

Your cervix isn't that far up
mine isn't anyway

just feel up there in the same direction as you would put a tampon in, so aim towards the back. though depending on how ready to labour you are it could be middle or even at the front. you should feel it at the top a little bump, if you have never had a baby before or are your cervix isnt very 'ripe' for labour it will feel like the tip of your nose. If you have had baby before or cervix very soft it will feel like the inside of your bottom lip. It shouldn't be too hard to find but some can be quite high up.

i think you are supposed to put behind the cervix if i remember correctly i read a post about this before! you feel up till you find cervix sometimes it is sort of tilted towards back or side and you slip behind do not try and insert or push into cervix dimple.
