hi girls, iv got lower backache and im only 14 weeks pregnant is this normal?? im getting worried

I had aches and light pains in my lower back at around the 3 month stage, am now at 6 months. Probably nothing to worry about, but if you are concerned, talk to your MW. Good luck

Have you had a scan yet? If not i would arrange to get it checked out,may be nothing of importance.

Dont ever worry about being silly if you worry about yours or your baby's health.

thankyou girls, yeah iv had a scan at 11 weeks 6 days baby was fine, i read that the hormone relaxin is at its highest at 14 weeks and back ache is common,if it carrys on il ring the MW x

i'm having lower back ache in my 6th week probably coz i went shopping for 3-4 hours!i havent had my first antenatal visit yet..what should i do??im worried!
can anyone help plz??

I am 28wks now and all the way thru i have had medical problems so a bit of backache after 3-4hrs of shopping id say is normal

you'll get all sorts of minor aches n pains at the start as your womb is growing etc.. even tho early on, your body changes loads so just relax for a bit. if its very painfull then call the EPU.

i'm sure all ig gr8 tho..
