One of my best friends donated her eggs when she was going through IVF. I myself think it is a wonderful idea as you are giving someone else the chance to become parents when they ordinarily can't. I think its personal preference and if you feel like it something that you want to do then I would go ahead. Good luck with your decision

what if a child is conceived through this donation?? am I going to be able to NOT think about a baby out there somewhere who shares my DNA???

that's kind of the point though, isn't it!

Our local fertility clinic offers this as a way of part funding your own care, but I have no idea what the uptake is like.

just wondering if anyone else had done it & what their views are on someone maybe coming to their door in 18 years saying "i came from you"
