Hi ladies. I just recieved my first scan date through the post but instead of feeling excited I'm actually very, very nervous about it.
I read the booklet that came with it explaining what they check for and now I'm paranoid about eveything from not seeing anything to having something not so good discovered!
I know that its a good thing to find out if something is wrong so i can act on it but I'm just terrified I can't seem to enjoy any of my first pregnancy because I'm worried all the time. Anyone got any helpful advice? xx

Its quite normal.....pregnancy (and motherhood) is just one worry after another IMO....you'll have the scan and then worry about the next thing.....etc....etc.....you'll get used to it....and its very exciting and rewarding as well.....

Easier said than done about try not to worry....but you mustn't worry about it too much. Stress is not a good thing.....for you or baby.

Good luck

Very normal to be scared - just try to remember that most pregnancies are fine, and like littlemissnorty said, stress don't help you or your baby.

Good luck! Even when they're born there is something to worry about, but they are so lovely it's worth it x
