Side effects to Iron tablets?

I'm 29 weeks and just been told my iron count is low and been put on iron tablets.

Has anyone ever experienced any side effects with them, e.g. constipation, etc.

And how long do you have to keep taking them? Til the end of the pregnancy or just a few weeks?

Salus Floradix Formula liquid iron is great. I've never had any type of constipation or any other bad reaction to the product.
It's a bit on the pricey side, but well worth it if you're anaemic, vegetarian/vegan, & especially pregnant.
Take it with a drink rich in vitamin C for better absorption & to kill the taste which I don't really care for.
