I just found out I am 5 weeks pregnant, I did one of those new clear blue tests that tell you how many weeks since you conceived, quite gimmicky.
Anyway just thought i would share my good news!

Congrats! You can never do with enough congratulations when you receive the good news!

booksgalore- lol at "well done". I love thinking of pregnancy as an achievement. Deeeja- hope you had fun getting there!

JacksmamaSaysIHeartTheRev · 25/01/2009 01:08

BCSNOWPEA do you live in British Columbia? I'm in Langley.

BlackEyedDogstar · 25/01/2009 01:16

lovely news Deeja

bcsnowpea · 25/01/2009 19:12

JacksmamaSaysIHeartTheRev yep, we live in North Van, though not for much longer. DS and I are back to Autralia on Feb 2nd... eek, not much more than a week to go!
Are you Canadian?

bcsnowpea · 25/01/2009 19:13

oops, have hijacked a little sorry Deeeja
So how's the pregnancy going?

JacksmamaSaysIHeartTheRev · 26/01/2009 01:07

I am Canadian (proudly waves Molson T-shirt, LOL)
Haver a safe return to Oz... will you be Aussiesnowpea when you get there?

bcsnowpea · 26/01/2009 05:53

I should name change, but nswsnowpea just doesn't really roll off the tongue
Also forgot to mention that my ds is Jack! How old is yours?

JacksmamaSaysIHeartTheRev · 26/01/2009 06:13

Mine will be a year old on Feb 13... wow... the mind boggles! How old is yours?

I agree... nswsnowpea... nahhh. I still like Aussiesnowpea but then I did make it up myself

bcsnowpea · 26/01/2009 06:21

Mine was 2 in November. I was walking around all month congratulating H and I for keeping him alive that long. Best thing I've ever done! So congrats in Feb to you for managing one year!

Hmm, aussiesnowpea does sound a lot better. Or maybe I'll have to make is aussiesunpea, since there sure won't be any snow around! Thank goodness! I love the snow and all, but I'm desperate for the burning summer sydney seems to be having at the moment. Looking forward to it

JacksmamaSaysIHeartTheRev · 26/01/2009 06:37

for no snow
I'm going to name change to JacksmamaHatesThisF**kingColdWeather

bcsnowpea · 26/01/2009 18:30

Ah, we've had some lovely sun this weekend though. Told DS it was for our Australia Day long weekend, to remind us that the sun really does exist!
Was a little overwhelmed by the fog though, never been in anything like it, it's quite depressing isn't it?

mummy2joshuarileyandbump · 26/01/2009 19:30

Congratulations, I did one of those clearblue with conception indicator which said 2-3 so assumed i was 4-5 weeks, when I went to the docs, she told me that it was just a gimmick, and i was actually 7 weeks. I think it picks up on the amoung of HCG in ur body. Its so exciting tho isnt it
Once again many congrats, i am currently 9 weeks and so excited

onlywantsone · 26/01/2009 19:57
