Smear test during pregancy...?

Am 35 weeks and got the standard 'you are due a smear' letter the other day - meant to speak to my midwife but forgot! I'm assuming it's a no-go until I've given birth...? How soon after are they likely to do it? I'm only just due one so not too bothered for now, just wondered!

I was advised to wait at least 3 months after having ds1 before having my smear. It was due while I was pg

i got that letter and called the no at the bottom of the page. They added info to the computer and i was called when dd was 6 months. Saved lots of reminder letters!

Thanks both - I'm guessing the smear wouldn't be very accurate for a while after birth anyway!

I had a letter when I was pregnant too. I rang the number on the letter and they added my due date to the file, then they called me up three months after I had DS.
