rubbish, of course you can feel it now, feels like butterflies? then thats probably the baby.
I felt mine at 16 weeks and was told it was impossible as I was over a size 18 (cheeky cow)

What are futterings btw, sounds painful

Is it your first? With my first I didn't feel anything until after 2 weeks - maybe 22? But I wouldn't have thought 18 weeks is rediculously early! Just because its'unusual' doesn't mean its not real! I'd say enjoy it!

I am 14 weeks pg with my 3rd and I can feel the odd fluttery, wobbly feeling which I know is baby...I wouldn't have noticed it with number 1. I know its 'too early' but whatever. I know!

( I mean after 20 weeks..not 2!)

I could feel fluttering about then too. How exciting! I secretly want to be there again!

I felt madam (first baby) at about 17 weeks... 'tis definitely bubs!

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 23/01/2009 11:56

I felt my first baby at 17 weeks too.

That isn't unusual at all!! I felt my first at 16 weeks and this one at 14 weeks. My friend didn't feel anything until way past 20 so it does vary a lot. I think it is partly to do with the position of the placenta. Your baby is over 10 cms now, if it turns a somersault, chances are you'll feel it!
