changeing your mind for second child.

Did anybody give birth to their first child, and say they would never have another child. At what age was your child when you changed your mind for your second?.

Am starting to change my mind now and dd is coming up to 18 months.
I suffer with anxiety and panic attacks which set in 2 weeks after dd's birth.

I have said though I don't want to have another baby until I pass my driving test.

well i think i have finally decided not to have a third because i have left it long enough, all those baby hormones have gone and I think no way

We were definitely not going to have another child after ds1.
Ds2 was the result of an un planned pregnancy & arrived when ds1 was 3.5.
Ds1 is now 5 & ds2 has just had his 2nd birthday & I am now so glad that we have the 2 of them.
Ds1 loves his little brother to bits & it is so lovely to see them interacting together.
It was hard work at first, but things are becoming so much easier now that they can play together.
I know of quite a few people who have said they didn't want any more children when their first ones were tiny & then changed their minds a few years down the line.

I suppose I am the opposite! I am pg with no 3 and although my dh is not keen on having more than 3 (for mainly financial reasons which I understand), I am beginning to feel really really sad that this might be my last pregnancy and my last baby.....anyone else have similar feelings?

My ds is 18 months, and part of me want's another child, im hoping i will change my mind too.

I had a very bad birth i think it put's me off, glad to hear happy storie's, for you guys that did change your mind.

No traumatic birth just didn't want anymore (DH quite a bit older than me) - also didn't enjoy the first year or so much as life very unsettled in those days. Thought about having another when DD1 was 2 but it was too early for me and only changed my mind when DD1 was 3. Unfortunately I had miscarriage so yet another year and have a virtual 5 year gap. DD2 is really lovely and I am very glad I changed my mind.

my wee chap is 4 and i said NO MORE!! when he was born. we didnt even think we d have kids but i got all homonal one night- hence little chap! but i really started getting hormonal again when he was about 2 1/2-left it 6mths b4 i told the hubby and we both realised we were thinking the same thing! we ve now been trying a yr so hopefully we ll be there soon!-go for it-
