What's considered a bleed in pregnancy?

I've had a tiny smear of pinky/brown mucusy discharge on two consecutive nights and this morning I had a tiny smear of pink, quite watery. I'm 6 weeks pg tomorrow. I've had not what I'd call pain, more like achey-ness, which I was hoping was stretching sensations. Do you think I've had what's considered a bleed or does it have to be heavier?

headfairy, it does sound strange.

I remember when I was approx 5-6 weeks pg with DD and I went to A&E as I was having really bad one sided pain. I was worried about an ectopic also, they kept me in and scanned me the next day. the sonographer couldn't see anything, nothing in the tubes or in the womb. I had to have an internal scan and he could just make out a sac.

Did they do an internal scan, they may be able to see more. Lets hope your bloods come back positive.

They did do an internal scan, so I guess that means there's nothing there. I'm quite tempted to go and get one of those digital hpt's with a conception indicator and see what that says, because 11 days ago I got a positive on that with conception being 1-2 previously. It should say 2-3 weeks now if things are progressing as they should.
