33 weeks pain and no movement?!

Hey ladies, I was just wondering if anyone could bring me down off the ceiling.
At lunchtime I had about 2 minutes of stitch like pain in the lower left of my bump that really stopped me in my tracks but have just realised that I haven't felt baby move, not even a wriggle, since then. I am currently drinking some ice cold lemonade to try and illicit some movement but nothing yet and I can't stop stressing!!

I had this with DD when 26 weeks. As soon as they started monitoring me she went crazy and was leaping around.

Hope that you and baby are okay.

Hope things are ok Emma - my baby has quiet days and then manic days. Hope that's all it is.

Thanks for the words of wisdom ladies!!
I went to the drop in clinic and the midwife had a listen and said it sounded good but due to no movement they would like me to go to the hospital for monitoring so I went to pick up DP and we went to the hospital...where baby decided to show me up by having a party in my belly!!

But the midwife was lovely and gave me a kick chart and told me not to feel silly if I have to go back in!! So for now...all is good!!

Good, i'm pleased for you & baby.
Sounds like a lovely MW

FloriaTosca · 21/01/2009 20:00

What a relief!
My MW said never to worry about wasting their time ..they would rather 1000 "wastes of time" like that than one expectant mum not worrying soon enough
Thrilled all is well for you
