I know that they are bad, but ive been having that half n half stuff, but im TTC.

should i just have sugar...trying to lose weight as well, so want to avoid sugars n stuff.

Why are they bad, what do they do to you?

I would try to to avoid sugars altogether. I also think a recent study has shown that artificial sweetners may not reduce cravings for sweet things and may actually make it worse - because your body is 'programmed' to expect the calories as soon as you eat something sweet and feels cheated when it doesn't.
Many years ago I was put off sweetners when a friend told me her dad, who is an airline pilot, was banned from having anything with aspartame in it before flying. That was about 15 years ago though.
I have PCOS and got pregnant really quickly and am sure it was down my diet, for years I've avoided sugar and anything with sweetners in it.
I'm not an expert but sugar is a refined carbohydrate, and our bodies are better at dealing with the unrefined thing. x

You could try Stevia. It's a natural sweetener.

There's no evidence that artificial sweeteners are bad unless you have seriously large amounts of them. They certainly aren't something pg women are told to avoid - I'd just chill out a bit.
