Wrap tops - is there a knack?

Help, please, ladies.

I have just taken delivery of my first proper maternity clothes (and very excited I am too).

One of the things I have bought is a stretchy wrap top - one of the ones that's like a tiny cardigan and then yards and yards of bits to wrap yourself in (the theory being, I think, that it will work all the way through from tiny bump to enormous bump).

Is there a knack to tying one, though? Because at the moment I look like I have fallen into a vat of industrial bandages - a bit like something out of The Mummy (the dead egyptian things, not the ladies with children!!) but in a slightly chic-er olive green...

Am I supposed to do one side at a time, or alternate them, or what? Or am I just going to look this stupid for the next 5 months?

Thanks for any tips...

Hi, I have an Isabella Oliver wrap top and my DH has to tie me into it. There is a demo video on how to put it on on the IO website but not that useful as just shows someone else putting it on the model. My DH wraps one side around me once and then the other side and alternates it like that. Can't fathom how you put it on myself but there must be a way. I also drink very little on the days I wear it as adjusting it after visits to the loo can be tough. Best of luck with it! Cx
