DS2 cut his head quite bad and we were in A&E most of the night - he's okay though!

When I got home I lay down and starting having contractions. Not braxton hicks (third pg), but proper squeezy gripping the side of the bed type pains, every 3 mins for half an hour. Inbetween them baby was going crazy too, kicking and squirming.

Am only 27 weeks and was terrified. Luckily they stopped after half an hour and am crossing everything that it won't happen again for at least the next 10 weeks!!

Poor you, do you think it was brought on by the stress then? Glad you are okay now.

yeah I think so puzzle, was quite alarming though. DH was in DS2's bed so that DS2 could stay with me and I was trying not to make a noise but they were so painful!

I'm just thinking that as they've stopped for 9 hours now and baby is still moving around and no other signs, that I should just take it easy today and everything will be okay.

DS1 was born 6 weeks early and that was scary enough!

Hi,

I'd agree with puzzle - probably the adrenaline of your situation made the contractions start. I found that stress kicked mine off too. Hope everythings ok

hi, yes everything has been fine today thank you.

I've told her she's staying in there for a while yet
