soft markers on anomaly scan

Hello

I am 22 w pregnant now and all was well - in fact time has flown by as DD1 only 10 months old so no time for thinking of no2. anyway U went for the anomaly scan and they have found 2 soft markers for down's (and edwards) - echogenic foci (calcium in heart) and choroid plexus cysts in the brain. I have already had an amniocentesis due to my age and I know that everything is ok and these markers will disappear but it has upset me a bit and taken the shine off things. Can anyone who has experienced similar just offer some reassurance?

many thanks

Moop

BabyDragon had echogenic foci. A detailed scan showed that these were actually caused by blood she had swallowed with amniotic fluid from a bleed earlier on in pregnancy. They looked like they were in her liver I think but that was because they were passing through her digestive system and were actually in front of it or something.

She's absolutely fine.
