have v sore, big boobs, feel on and off transiently sick but nothing major, feel a bit weepy now and again, going to the loo more but not loads. And not tired at all, positivelt energetic, which worries me.

However, have been plagued by cramps since last tue, not all the time on and off, a lot worse at night. Got cramps for a few days before mc last time at 6 weeks, but felt less pg generally then too.

Can't remember cramps with dd but didn't know til 7 weeks.

terrified in case it's a mc, feel worse either side (now one specifically, feel like sides are pulling) but also have dull aches across lower abdomen and back ache at night.

Also querying UTI as had these badly when pg with dd, but have no cystitis symptoms, have anti-biotics from last pg in cupboard, shall I take some to see?

what do you think? Shall I go to GP?

Hiya
Firstly, congrats on your pregnancy! It's a stupidly worrying time anyway, let alone if your last pregnancy ended sadly. But please try not to worry, I had cramping up to 10 weeks with mine, they got so bad I rang NHS direct and it turned out to be stretching of the womb.
Don't take any antibiotics or any medicine without seeing your gp first (you don't know if it's safe to take in pregnancy) and if you're worried it could be a uti go and see doctor asap.
Try not to panic too much but rest and relax as far as you can.
Best of luck with everything xx

I can remember having stomach cramps between 5 and 7 weeks - it really felt like I was about to come on. But I didn't and dd is now 18 months! try to relax, it can be ok x

Just a quick one to say that I had such bad cramps with DS that I sat on the loo crying and wondering how on earth I would ever cope with labour if I couldn't manage stretching pain. Started at 5 weeks and went on for about a month. Congrats on your pregnancy.

Congratulations
I know its easy to say dont worry but i had period type pains in all of my pregnancys ( i am now 34+3 weeks ) and i had a misscarriage 14 months ago so i know how scary it can be but they honestly are just your womb doing its thing. There is alot going on down there so its bound to feel a little different, it will stop eventually though

Hi I thought i'd join in as i have just found out that i am around 5 weeks pregnant after 5 years of trying! Finally got here with the Injections. I have really bad period type cramps in the night, they woke me up last night at 3am and 5am...i'm continuosly worrying...i think its only normal to panic aboutanything, but i'm trying to think that its all just making room in there!! People say they felt like they were going to come on, but i have seriously uncomfortable period tummy cramps.....i'm hoping this is normal???

i am five weeks and had cramping last night, infact kept up for half the night but not much due to pain but due to the worry of what it was. they weren't painful but almost 'alien' like. yesterday i had mild cramps whilst out shopping and had some -TMI alert- stringy discharge with a tiny streak of blood that was red. no more blood since but i know thats not a good sign. still remaining hopeful, never had a MC before and have one dd who is 3 although cannot rmemeber my pregnancy since had complications and that clouds all the 'normal'memories.

anyone specifically had these symptoms then a 'streak' of blood in discharge

forgot to add, congratulations babymadness that must have been an incredible journey you have been on. good luck with the pregnancy

Hi all, odd cramping pains are not unusual during early pregnancy and usually do not imply a problem. If you are having pain and bleeding or increasing pain then you should see your GP who ideally should refer you for an early pregnancy scan depending upon how many weeks preg you are. At 5 weeks an early pregnancy may not always be visible but by 6/7 weeks you should be able to see an early pregnancy sac and the baby with a tiny heartbeat. Once a heartbeat has been seen statistically the chances of a miscarriage still occuring are much less likely.Again a streak of blood with discharge may not be relevant but if it persists should be followed up with a scan!
