She was due yesterday. Know that I ovulated 12 April, but I hear first babies are normally late. I really am bored of waiting now. Tried curry, sex, walk, raspberry leaf tea etc.
She's not moved very much this afternoon which is worrying me tho. x

Of my 10 friends who had first babies last year, only 1 was early and most were a week or more late.

They don't move much towards the end because there isn't much room!

Keep going with the curry etc. - it was a very mild korma that got my labour started! Well done for managing sex, too!!!!

Good luck, hope she's here soon!!

Enjoy the peace while you can. It won't be long now!

Mine 11 days late. Not what you wanted to hear, but think he just needed that time to grow a little bit more!
Ah, very soon you'll have a lovely little thing in your arms..Very soon!

My first baby was 10 days overdue and had to be induced. Then he wouldn't get out anyway and had ot have a c-section. My second was an elective so she was a week early, but that doesn't count ! I had three friends all pregnant with their first babies and all were overdue. One friends baby was engaged for so long that he was born with a swollen neck bless him.

I've read that oral sex is better for bringing on labour as the chemical in sperm that triggers contractions is absorbed better through the lining of the stomach . Bet it was a man that 'discovered' this lovely fact! I didn't have the stomach to try it myself.....

Good luck!!!

Mine was a week late. I do sympathise, even though you've generally been told that only 5% of babies show up on the actual due date, if you go beyond it you start thinking 'this is a joke, I'm going to be PG forever!'

However, if you are worried in any way or feeling ill or strange, phone your MW or the labour ward, they will be happy to reassure you.

Ahhh thanks everyone. I know I could be pg for another 13 days worst case (or best for baby maybe?!) Only a man could have worked that one out about sperm Marthasmama I don't know if I should try that, sure DP would love it of course. Feel that my liver as well as stomach is being squished this afternoon. Only just started getting hip pain yesterday so I can't really complain. x
