Swollen bits.

I know that I might sound strange but is anybody else suffering from swollen areas between the legs. I am also having the long suffering piles to top this off but everywhere else feels so sore and puffy. I have put this down to the baby putting weigh on the area but at 27 weeks I just wondered if I should have a chat to my midwife or doctor.

You might not want to know this, but you can get vaginal haemorrhoids (sp!) as well.

Probably just pressure, increased blood flow or something sitting on a nerve, but I'd guess worth a mention.

Thanks The swelling isn't internal just the area surrounding.....is there anything I can do to ease this as at present I feel like I am walking like John Wayne

another solution : giving birth ?

I got very swollen with thrush and didn't realise it was actually that as it seemed different to the times i'd had it in the past. I also had piles at the same time so I know how unpleasant it was but it's easy treatable if it is tht. xx

it is rather grim isn't it....i get this sort of heavy feeling in that area and everything feels engorged...i find it happens if i've been on my feet too long and definately resting with feet up helps (usually have to wait until end of day!)

Thanks for all you kind words. At least I know that i'm not being paranoid now. I will just have to learn to put my feet up more.

Ditto - def might be thrush as I have had it twice this pregnancy when on antibiotics and this was one of my symptoms.
