Anyone had acupuncture for Morning Sickness?

I just wondered if anyone had had this in pregnancy specifically for morning sickness?

I've had one treatment last Thursday - and that afternoon and evening felt absolutely dreadful. I've since been feeling just a teeny weeny bit better. I've got another appointment next Thursday.

Any success stories gratefully received!

Yes. Not much luck with it for me, I'm afraid - it worked a treat during, and for about 2 hours after, then it started again just as badly. Hope that helps - it's just my experience.

I did and it didn't really work for me but I suffered from Hyperemesis. I think though it is meant to work better if you have regular appointments (i.e. three times a week) but I couldn't afford it and was too ill to get there anyway. Good luck I have heard positive things about it.

I have had it for anxiety and did have it a few times for sickness, but although it seems to help with the anxiety, it didn't really help with the sickness. I was under the impression weekly sessions were enough, and I didn't manage that.

Worked brilliantly when I had neck pain- I do believe it works for lots of things, I should add, so you know where I'm coming from. But not for this, not for me.

I had it twice a week for hyperemesis, and while I did feel better after the first session, my sickness got progressively worse, despite sessions, and ended up on meds. I was reassured that it should eventually respond, but after 4 weeks worth (8 sessions at £35 a pop) I wasn't willing to last it out any longer

Oh dear. Anyone with any positive experiences?
