wondered if there was any truth in this

apparently full moons do mean more babies are born , somethng to do with the moon's gravitational pull on your waters !! or summat...

Only if you having a werewolf! Only joking. Never heard of this before but I suffer dreadful mood swings with the full moon so I wouldn't be surprised if it does affect some people more than others .

as a midwife I can say the unit is often busier around the time of a full moon. They did research into it, but found no significant difference between times of the month, though more babies are born at night than in the day

I did! Had joked about it beforehand then went into labour dead on 38 weeks on full moon...

I suppose them being born at night is natures way of making sure they were safe from predators in the past

Just looked up the moon phases when my first two were born, both exactly 2 days after full moon, and this one is due 2 days after a full moon- spooky!

my midwife said that their unit is always far busier for the full moon and the couple of days after!
