I found out that I'm pregnant at the weekend - not sure how much as have irregular cycles, anything between about 4 and 6 weeks I guess. I had quite strong period type pains at the end of last week and have had milder ones on and off since then - no spotting though which is good. This is my 5th pregnancy (2 m/c and 2 children) so I should know what's going on but can't remember if it's 'normal' or 'usual' to have mild period like pain. I'm sitting her dreading going to the loo as convinced i'll see blood . I hope this little one makes it.

congratulations

period-type pain is perfectly normal and usual so try not to worry too much about that.

After 2 mcs, you're always going to worry, but this type of pain is okay.

I've only had the one pregnancy but this is normal IME. Congratulations!

Very normal. Congrats and good luck!

Thanks - the constant worry is horrible but keep reminding myself that if all goes well I actually get to have a baby at the end of it
