Please can I have opinions. I am 29 weeks and I feel that the baby's movements are smaller (prehaps because getting bigger(?) or position) and prehaps less often - hard to tell as baby very active at night. I have also noticed a very small amount of brown discharge in my underwear but not when I wipe - I had this until about 18 weeks and was nothing. Should I get checked out, I have a M/W appointment next week.

This is my 3rd baby BTW.

I think you should phone your midwife and ask her advice.

Brown discharge could be blood and signify something potetially serious, or it could be caused by cervical erosion (after having sex for example).

Lessened movements could be due to baby's position. Drink a cold sugary drink and lie on your left hand side.

Definitely phone you midwife.

Thanks Belgo. It seems to have stopped (the discharge). I have left it and waited to see - the problem I find with contacting M/W - is a) trying to get hold of them b)if you do they send you to the hp - where you are left waiting for hours! Thanks again.
