Permanent stitch-like pain in left hand side of pelvis

Anyone know what this could be? The pain starts on the left hand side of my pelvis and runs down my leg to my foot. I'm 20 weeks on Friday (having my 20 week scan on Weds morning, thankfully). The pain's been going on since the weekend, just a little bit worried. Thanks for any suggestions

back of pelvis at the sacrum ( just below your lower back) or inside pelvis like the bowel or other organ?

Thanks for replying! Inside pelvis - though it sometimes feels like my left leg is going to get detatched at my hip when I walk...

Might be sciatica. Cx

sounds like sciatica, I see this alot in my Pilates studio....very common during preg. due to the instabilities that preg can create in the pelvis. Many women have very good results with a couple of appointments with a good osteopath. You might try posting to see if anyone knows a good osteo in your area? It's better to get it seen to asap so it doesn't become debilitating. good luck. x

Thanks Carrie and lilimama , will see how it goes over the next couple of days. Osteo may well be a good idea - until a few days ago I was walking an hour a day going to and from work and have been going to pregnancy for yoga once a week, and want to keep this up if at all possible, as it has been making me feel better in myself. Thanks again for the advice!
