Hi there,

This is my first time on Mumsnet. For me its been a real rollercoaster ride getting pregnant. Im 40 and now 17 weeks with my first baby. Lucky for me Ivf worked first time - harrowing experience but well worth it!!

I live in the Hillingdon area any mums to be from around here?

Get great to chat with other mums to be whether ivf babies or not.

Chat soon.

Hi,

Glad to see your message and congratulations. I am always happy to chat to other IVF mothers. I am 37 and have a 7 month old DD through my first IVF cycle. We are thinking of a frozen blast cycle in the summer of this year.

Where is Hillingdon? I am in the Cambridge area.

Which clinic did you go to?

Oh hi there,

I am with the ARGC in Wimpole Street London the notorious Mohammed Tarannissi. How bout you?

We didnt manage to get any good eggs to freeze so I really hoped it would work for us 1st time.

Hillingdon is in Middlesex not far from Heathrow airport. Where bouts in Cambridge are you - I was born in St.Neots so i know Cambridge quite well.

Hi, I'm an ivf'er as well - first time lucky too. I'm in London and went to ACU at UCH. 25 weeks now, so just counting down to baby number 1!
Congratulations on your pregnancy

Babyc congratulations as well. When are your due dates IVF'rs?

I am in North Cambridge at my mother's house at the moment but I am due to return to Ireland mid to late January...mat leave and AL all used up.

I live in the Dundalk area but we'll be back in the summer to try for DC2.

Keep well...how are you feeling?

Hi Dawnee,

I'm not pregnant at the moment but live in London and will be going for private IVF + ICSI later this year. V encouraging to hear your story.

If you don't mind sharing, I'm trying to choose a clinic and I'm torn between ARGC and the Lister so was wondering what made you choose ARGC and were you happy with the experience?

Thanks

jas

Hi Dawnie

I'm 13 weeks pregnant from IVF - the first cycle didn't work but second time around used a frozen embryo and amazingly it worked ... a huge surprise as at 44 years old saw this as the last chance!

Which hopsital are you under and how have you been feeling?
