Quick Question re NF/Blood results

Hi there,

anyone know how long you have to wait for results of combined NF scan/blood test at 12 weeks?

Presumably they can give you the results of the measurement of the fluid accumulation as they do the scan... but what about the blood test and final 'risk' figure?

Thanks

Hi there. It depends on whether you go private or NHS I think. Have just gone privately with Babybond for DC3 and had to wait 2 days to get triple test results as they wouldn't just give me nuchal scan results. Not sure with NHS. I do remember NHS just doing nuchal scan and not bloods for DD2. Sorry I can't be of more help. Good luck with the results. x

was a couple of weeks on nhs for combined nuchal and bloods. if there is any real urgency they will contact you asap though. x

you get your final risk figure after you have had your 2nd bloods which are at approx 16 weeks - I got my final result at 18 weeks.

The NF measurement will be on your 12 week scan report though
