Anyone else find certain foods really upset their stomachs?

I found out a month or so ago that something about pizza really upsets my stomach - gives me horrible pains and makes me constipated. I think it's the pastry as the same thing happened one night when I overindulged in mince pies.

Just wondered if anyone knows if this is likely to continue throughout the pregnancy? I really want to be able to eat the odd pizza but I'm not willing to risk it for that much discomfort and pain. By the way, I'm not addicted or anything, but I do like to have pizza a few times a month!

but pizza is made with dough, not pastry...

has it happened with anything else? could it be the wheat? (obv you'd get it iwth bread then as well)
could just be coincidence though

Yeah, but they're in the same family, as it were, aren't they?! I did wonder about wheat but have no problems with bread.

I can only think it was the pizza bases that caused me the problems as they were from two different places, one a cheapish chain but the other a lovely restaurant, but it might have been the sauce. I'm veggie, so not a meat product.

I'm just wondering if I dare try it again. I could just have one or two slices, I guess.

Only happened three times - once after having three mince pies (but I'm ok if I just have one, or two small ones) and the twice after pizzas. I suppose it's hardly important, just a bit of a shame.

I was really poorly the other night - throwing up and the other end....after I od'ed on dairy and rich food. I just don't think that my body can handle such rich foods any more. I certainly won't be eating any more creamy sauces until after bubs is here.

It sounds like the levels of fat and physical amounts. It's strange because I can handle rich foods better now than pre-pregnancy (25 weeks)
