I know I'm not supposed to be able to feel my baby moving yet but I'm sure I keep feeling little flutters. Am I just imagining it or is it possible??

Yes

(My first was later but I felt no 2 fluttering at 14 weeks.)

How exciting

CeceliaAhern · 29/12/2008 23:09

If this is a second baby then yes.

keels26 · 29/12/2008 23:13

I actually felt my first baby quicker then my second. With my first I was sitting down and as I bent over to pick something up off the floor I felt little flutters in my stomach. With my second it was about 16 weeks, but in general my first baby was/is much more active then my second.

If you think you can then you probably can!! How exciting! I remember reading on here someone said they felt movement at 11 weeks.

xxhunnyxx · 29/12/2008 23:14

No it's my first

I thought I felt a bit of movement last week but it turned out to just be wind!
I know that this baby is very active, he/she was jumping and bouncing all over the place on the scan last week and even did a somersault!
The feeling that I felt last night felt like another somersault.

i'm sure i felt both my dds at 12/13 weeks. people will tell you that it's wind but they're just spoilsports. you enjoy it, it's an amazing feeling.

callmeovercautious · 29/12/2008 23:21

Wow - congratulations.

I felt DD at exactly 17 weeks when bending down to take a can of diet coke out of the fridge.

I will never forget it. She kept up the kicking the rest of the 9m.

I am so glad you wrote this post as I am now 13 weeks and have been feeling flutters since about 11 weeks - like someone is tickling me from the inside. I KNOW it is not wind as it is a different part of my body from where I usually feel that. I have never felt that sort of movement in that part of my body before (ie: the pelvis). It must be the baby

mum2b09 · 30/12/2008 20:12

xxhunnyxx · 31/12/2008 11:09

Oh wow that's fab! I was possitive I felt it last night, I only really feel it when I'm lying in bed, yeah it feels like someone tickling me from the inside.
It's the best feeling ever!

I felt my 2nd baby move at 11w. Amazing feeling quite low down.

brettgirl2 · 31/12/2008 11:54

I definitely felt something at 14 weeks (first) and it sounded the same as chaya. Definitely not wind, but I suppose it could possibly have been changes due to the pg, but I think baby. I don't have tickles any more, but thumps instead! I was more certain it was baby movement as time went on tbh.

mumface · 02/01/2009 20:44

This is my 3rd baby,i have felt little wriggles in my tummy for a few days.I am 13weeks tomorrow.I know its not wind i can feel its my womb area.Makes it all feel worth it!

NAB3lovelychildren · 02/01/2009 20:45

I felt movement at 12 weeks with number 3 but no one would believe me

MakemineaGandT · 02/01/2009 20:48

well I felt my second at 10 weeks! Honestly! I couldn't believe it, but it was - when midwife finally located heartbeat it was exactly in the location I was feeling the flutterings
