Keep away from anything fatty or creamy - especially pastry - also things with caffiene in will annoy it - and milk based products - do not do as I did and drink pints of cold milk thinking it will help it doesn't.

Get some natural yogurt - it will neutralise the contents of your stomac and stop the acid - believe me I had this both pregnancies and ended up with a voice like Barry White where my vocal chords had been damaged from the acid - this really works and is bloody good for you.

Go back to the doctors if it is that bad - if rinitidine doesn't work (which it doesn't for me) they can give you omeprazole which is about a million times better.

Anyway in terms of foods there is nothing at all that settles mine (I have it all the time, not just in pg.) I agree with the above apart from that surely natural yoghurt is a milk based product?

In terms of whether you need two rinitidine it may depend on the strength of the tablets you have been given so think you need to talk to the doctor!
