Grinding pains! Baby is sticking boot in! Does this mean anything?

Baby is making me feel a bit bruised and walking is slow and painful as baby is playing football with my bladder and nether regions. I am 31 weeks but I suspect that I am further along. Does this mean anything? I know it probably sounds a bit hypochondriac-ish but didn't have this last preg. Do you think this is a sign baby is engaging?

LAst pregnancy, baby didn't engage at all but after much prodding and poking and water bursting, I did get pains from the baby resting on my bladder and this is what the pain I have now feels like.

Sounds more like SPD to me!

thisisyesterday know what you mean but its some sort of contact be whatever part of the body! All I know is it hurts. Not enough to be in bed but enough to make me not want to go out and do anything fun. Or walk at an ordinary pace! Can't have this for the next 8 weeks or so!

wmmc could be right about spd though, that's v painful down there.
when are you seeing MW next?

Hopefully on Tuesday but if she can't squeeze me in (highly probable that she won't even get back to me, they are a bit pushed round my neck of the woods) it will have to be after the new year, boo!
