soy isoflavones to help short LP? Endometriosis?

Basically, as the subject suggests! Am trying B6 and agnus castor, but read something about soy isoflavones to generally lengthen menstrual cycle and LP. Has anyone heard anything about this / tried it? I am desperate!!

I was also wondering whether endemetriosis might be a root cause of the short LP. I get heavy periods, pelvic pain but no pain during sex etc. I get lower back pain and cramps during AF. Does this sound like it could be endometriosis? My GP basically fobbed me off and said to come back in a year if I hadn't managed to conceive. She is supposedly an OB/GYN specialist. I said I had heavy bleeds lasting roughly 6-7 days out of a 27/28 days cycle, OV-ing on CD19 or 20 but she seemed unconcerned....

Any thoughts?

Thanks

how short is your LP? mine went down to 6-8 days cycle was 28-33 days, plus my periods went from pre ds1 heavy heavy to 2 days light light... i also had lower back pain and cramps...

ds2 is now 4 weeks old!!

i also took b6 and angnus cactus, plus a whole tonne of other supplements including wheatgrass and used pre-seed!

hope that helps! good luck

Thanks for your reply newmumof2, that is promising! And congratulations on your second baby!
My LP is abut 9 - 10 days but has been 8. My periods are v heavy and painful, lower back pain, cramps etc.
I will give B6 and Agnus castus a bit longer then and maybe look at the progesterone cream. Thanks v much for your reply!
