Quick, tuna's ok isn't it? I've already had one can this week.

If not, would red salmon be better on a baked potato?

You should limit intake of tuna, I think, to one can a week (mercury). Pretty sure red salmon would be fine.

The Food Standards Agency says you can have 4 medium cans a week, which must surely be plenty by anyone's standards.

Cheese!

Well I've already opened the can so I think I'll go for it. I would imagine it's 4 cans a week for a while so there's a build-up? I shall henceforth try and stem the craving.

Yes, it's fine

I had about 8 cans/week when I was pregnant with DD (for about 2 months). I had such bad morning sickness, I could barely eat anything, for some reason tuna, of all things, settled in my tum.

DD is 7yo and on the G&T list at school, now. Obviously she'd be at Oxbridge already, though, if only I hadn't had all the tuna.
