Clove Oil

Does anyone know if its safe to use clove Oil when pregnant. I have a really bad tooth ache and need something now for the pain!!!

Can anyone help with this?

When I had tooth ache I went to get some clove oil - the label said do not take if pregnant...but I asked the pharmacist and he said there was no evidence to say there was a risk. I ended up using a teeny tiny amount, but then felt guilty and worried so didn't use anymore! I'd stick to paracetamol, and try and get some antiboitics if there is an infection - this is the only thing that dealt with mine.

Don't know about clove oil, sorry, but swilling with salt water might help
