Lying in - what will you ask for?

I don't like the idea of lying in, but I love her idea of getting people who visit to do stuff. I thought I might provide a list so that when people come to admire the baby, I will say "thank you for the lovely gift for our baby, can you give the mummy a gift too and select something from this list to do before you go?"

Good idea? And what would you put on the list?

Do the washing up
Fold down the dry washing
Put on another load of washing
Empty out the bins

What else?

I'd definitely get nice food deliveries on the list, I'll never forget my mum bringing nice bread, butter and pate round when I got home from hospital - was the best meal I've ever had!

Buy some nappies
Iron some clothes
Cook a meal
Hoover round
Clean the bathroom
Take the other children out for an hour
Take the baby out for an hour
Watch the baby while I shower

I could go on forever!

Oh yes, go shopping, how could I forget the most impossible job of all when you have a new baby?
