I know there are many different ways for inducing labor and wives tales of sex, herbal tea, walking, acupressure, curries etc but has anyone had any other of experiences?

Natural inducement?

Um, a friend said that reflexology started her off. Not sure if that's what happened, but if nothing else, she had a lovely foot rub

Clary sage - a few drops in some body lotion which I rubbed into my tummy. It's a uterine stimulant and I started tightening almost immediately and my waters broke a few hours later. Could have been the clary sage or just coincedental as I was post dates.

There is evidence that a membrane sweep (stretch and sweep) at 41 weeks will increase your chances in going into labour on your own..
