Hi I am mr weepootle - she has had to go in to be induced today as the baby is only measuring 32 weeks and she is 39 weeks gone.

There is only a small amount of fluid as well.

can anyone help and know if this sounds bad and whether the baby will survive??

I'd be grateful for any help.

Can't offer any advice MrWeePootle but the best of luck

I have no idea what might be 'wrong' but a baby born at 32 weeks has an excellent chance of survival, so I would hazard a wild guess that your baby will be small but fine, with a bit of appropriate care.

Good luck MrWeePootle

No advice either, but my SIL was induced at 32 weeks because her waters broke too early. Got a cracking 1 year old daughter now, and all is perfect.

I wish you both all the best

good luck mr weepootle - my DT's were born at 28 weeks and are now two very naughty lovely bouncing 4 year olds. A few weeks in an incubator will soon see wee weepootle on the mend.

Thinking of you....

My DD was born at 32 weeks after my waters went early. She was 4lb8oz and a right little fighter.

She spent a month in scbu with jaunduce and feeding problems but has gone from strength to strength since then, she's 4 in 3 weeks and absolutly enormous, very bright and comletly normal. You would never know she was prem.

Sorry your having to go through this, having a premature baby is truly terrifying but 32 weeks is a good gestation to be born at.

Good luck and lots of hugs to you both
