MS - here and then gone?

I know this is going to sound like I'm totally paranoid (guess what? I am! ) But I am 7+2, had some mild ms this past week and now for two days it's pretty much gone. I've had some gagging, but mostly even the feeling of nausea is gone. I had a missed miscarriage last pregnancy and the baby measured about 7 weeks, so of curse I'm so worried this time around. Has anyone had their ms disappear so early on and still have everything be okay?

Thank you!

Mine used to come and go.

Hope all goes well for you this time.

lastboxoftampons mine came and went as well. i think it's because your body got used to the level of hormones and so you're not feeling as sick. just wait, once the levels increase again you'll feel it.

really hope everything goes well for you!

funny how we get worried that we're not feeling sick anymore isn't it?

LBOX just wanted to add to what others have said that it does indeed come and go. I think it's really common to have 'good' days that last 2/3 days then start retching/being sick again as the hormones rise. I was fine last week and now at the magic 12 weeks it's back again! I'm sure you will be absolutely fine xx

Hi LBOT

Easy to say dont worry I know but mine was the same. Had waves of nausea, usually when needing to eat, then was ok. I was waiting for the hyperemisis to begin (is in my family) and very fortunately it never did.

My worse weeks for nausea and other symptoms were 9/10/11 then it was very on and off then completely fine by 14wks - tahts first time i noticed not feeling sick...

Have you got other symptoms taht might give re-assurance? strong sense of smell, sore boobs or tiredness?

lastboxoftampons · 10/12/2008 13:46

thanks for the replies everyone.

GYO I do have sore boobs. I don't know if they seem less sore now, or I'm imagining it. Although I did sit up in bed last night and nearly screamed in agony! They hurt so much when I've been lying down! I can't smell anything at the moment as I woke up with a cold this morning. I was wondering if maybe that had something to do with it. I'm so focused on breathing I'm not paying attention to the nausea??

Will go for a scan next week, I'm just worried as this is where it went wrong last time. Although last time I had no nausea or ms.
