Just wondering if day 14 is always the biggie...

Day 8 - assume the swimmers were hanging about for a day or so as I ovulate normally on day 11 or 12. Really wasn't expecting to be PG!

I have a 28 day cycle and ovulate around day 14 (I have clear OV pain every time), however I struggled ttc for nearly a year. I had stopped trying prior to an operation; the only BDing I did that month was day 8, and lo and behold, I'm now 38 weeks pg! I have no idea how that worked, but it did.

I think what I was going to say is:

My cycle is fairly accurate that I know the exact time I will come on and I also ovulate on day 14. I know with Tink and the baby I am carrying that I could have only conceived on the day I ovulated because of current events, this time it was when he was working in London and I spent the weekend with him, last time was when we stayed at his parents house in a king sized bed rather than the two put-me-ups that we had next to each other at my parents, he then went to London for a few days before Christmas.

Sperm lasts inside for five days, so no, you don't have to have sex on the day you ovulate or even every day.
