do you mean, to prepare the first child?

if so, we had "there's a house inside my mummy" which is really lovely, and ds1 enjoyed very much

also got a little board book type thing which just had pictures and we talked about what we could see. liked it cos it showed mum breastfeeding baby too

If its to prepare another child I quite like There's a house inside my mummy.
Sounds a bit odd but my ds who was 19 months at the time liked it and is now 3 and a half and still likes it.

I had this - its got some good hints and tips but it also scared me silly in some parts - cat me and I'll post you my copy if you don't want to fork out for it, just let me have it back when you are finished so I can pass it round my friends when they have no 2 x

TaleofTwoCities · 09/12/2008 20:19

I had that book too insywinsy! I was all rose tinted classes about siblings playing happily with each other all day long so probably good that it set out some of the realities!

I read the two socks 1 hairbrush five nappies or whatever it was called and it was totally depressing and defeatist.

I wouldn't read it tbh, just relax as much as possible. It IS hard at first but everything settles down after a few months, and I say this as someone who had a difficult 2nd baby!!!

TaleofTwoCities · 09/12/2008 20:20

glasses! I'm losing it obviously due to having 2 children!
