Where can I get a maternity jumper I'll be able to breadtfeed in?

I'm 30 weeks so I don't want to waste money on a jumper I'll only be able to wear for a few weeks. CAn anyone suggest where can I get a jumper that'll keep me warm, accomodate my belly now but that I'll have easy access to my boobs in?

I've had 3 DDs and BF all of them but never owned a top for BFing in, I've had maternity tops when pregnant but once the baby is born I go back to normal tops. I had a few jumpers and cardi's but in bigger sizes.

When BFing it's easy just to hoick your top up, if your worried about exposing your post birth belly, theres a belly band you can get like a boob tube pulled down or like I do have a t-shirt under your cardi which covers you up a bit.

I use them tons for easy breastfeeding. you can get maternity ones, or just get a generously sized regular one?

Jumpers aren't great for BFing in winter as you have to hoick them up over your norks and your body gets cold. I recommend cardis too.

I'm not a BF virgin and have never before fle tthe need for a BF top it's just that I'm normally a tiny size 8 and all my winter tops and jumpers are quite short (otherwise they swamp me). I remember after I had DS being totally confused because all my normal tops were suddeny too short but it was because I finally had a bust and of course my new frontage was making my tops shorter! In those days I had much more money and went out and bought a new wardrobe but 3 years of being a SAHM means I can't afford clothes at all really so I need to get some things that will work pre and post baby.

I'm not worried about showing off any bits of me really but am concerned about being cold! DS was a summer baby and I happily sat outside for hours feeding him but this one's due in February and DS1 is such an outdoorsy boy I'll inevitably be feeding on freezing cold park benches. Maybe cardigans are the way forward. It just seems there are plenty of nursing tops around but no nursing jumpers.

H&M might be the place. I have a black maternity cross-over jumper from there that I still wear, either as is or with a cami or T under it.

I second the H&M suggestion; also found cardigans great (don't need to get them that big as I didn't do them up), button-up shirts, scarves and then underneath a feeding/maternity vest from H&M - has little clips on the straps so you can get your boobs out without having to hike your top up and expose your belly! Also lived in a merino wool wrap cardigan from Gap, bought one size too big - flattering, warm and pracitcal for BF! But the vests were the best thing - a friend bought me two the week after I gave birth and I literally wore them until they fell apart. Layering is the way to go, as anything too big and bulky just gets too hot and sweaty (but layers will keep you warm when you do venture outside).

I'm normally a size 8 too and today I have on a black fitted t-shirt and a long black belted cardi which cover my bum and most of my thighs. I just unbutton the cardi, pull up the top when DD3 wants a feed then you can wrap the cardi back around you.

DD2 was a January babe and I found a great selection on jumpers in Primark that were cheap and a size 12 seen me right through to the end and I was huge.

HOM - wrap over cardies are a good investment - Monsoon has some nice ones you could wear now (and after baby has been born) to do breastfeeding in the warmth; I've got a really old one from Topshop from last pregnancy that I'm planning on using with DS2...

I bought cheap vests (supermarket) for about £2 - wear one under your normal top and pull it down as you pull the outer top up.

That way you don't expose any flesh (esp post preg jelly belly) when you are feeding.

I think a lot of BF clothes are overpriced and as I'm fussy about the stuff I like I don't find it easy to buy anything.
