PG with second lo and I just don't feel pg, IYSWIM.

I am 8 weeks pg with my second lo. I don't have many pg symptoms other than peeing, what feels like, every half an hour and god awful heartburn. I don't have any morning sickness and I am sleeping like a log. I feel wonderful in comparison to when I was 8 weeks pg with DD.

This pg feels like the polar opposite of my pg with DD.

I sometimes (alot of the time ) actually forget that I am pg.

The other big difference is my norks, they are huuuuge. I mean I am a HH cup normaly anyway but OMG they have got mahoosive. It feels like when my milk came in with DD, I keep wanting to reach for my breast pump to give me some relief lol.

Anyone else have really different pregnancies?

I think pregnancy can be different each time. Some mums have different pregnancies depending on whether they are having a boy or a girl - I know I felt differently.

Also the second time your body has already done it so may not react as wildly as before? Also perhaps you are not as aware as the pregnancy due to having done it before (although not suggesting it isnt as special) and getting rather distracted by DD!

Yes. very distracted by DD, she is only 12mo and has become very clingy these last few days. I think she may be teething again.

Wonder if I am having a boy this time. My mum and MIL have both told me that they had awful heartburn when they had my bro and DH. My first symptom was heartburn, I have only ever had it while pg. But I was about 25 weeks pg with DD before I got any.

Also I feel so big already (not sure if I am imagining it) but I have had to get into my maternity pants already as my normal ones are just too tight.

I think a lot of symptoms can depend on first versus second pregnancies. I had more heartburn with DD than DS - but DD was my second pregnancy. I was also a lot bigger more quickly with the second pregnancy.

With DS I was definitely spottier but with DD I had dry skin.

Are you planning to find out gender before the birth? Will be interesting to see if symptoms linked

I would like to find out but not find out IYSWIM. I am curious and it would be easier to know if we are having a boy or not so we can get some boy clothes. But I think we will leave it as a suprise.

I was very spotty with DD also but not (so far anyway) with this pg.

I didn't think I would feel so different with subsequent pregnancies.
